Because not even the daughter of a former beloved president is safe from male harassment, we now have this story: Secret Service agents detained a Brooklyn man last week after he showed up to the building where former First Daughter Malia Obama is working as an intern and asked her to marry him.

A leg-barring Malia was spotted leaving her internship at The Weinstein Company in NY on Tuesday wearing a thigh-grazing, lumberjack-red, plaid shirtdress.

Jair Nilton Cardoso, 30, went up to the fourth floor of the Manhattan building where 18-year-old Malia is now interning, held up a sign, and starting shouting that she should marry him on April 10, sources told the New York Daily News.

He was kicked out by two Secret Service agents assigned to Malia's detail.

Morgan Stanley posts strong 1Q profit, helped by trading
In the bank's institutional securities unit, sales and trading revenues of nearly $3.5 billion were 30% ahead of a year earlier. Finally, Macquarie reissued an "outperform" rating on shares of Morgan Stanley in a research report on Thursday, February 16th.

But he returned just two days later on Wednesday, April 12, and followed her out of her other interning job, in the West Village.

They interviewed Cardoso and determined he needed psychiatric evaluation and took him to a hospital.

Thank goodness Malia Obama, 18, has such a strong support system! They told him to go away and leave her alone, sources said.

In an odd choice of words, the Daily News report described Cardoso as "lovelorn", prompting a swift backlash on social media. The teenager, who is taking a gap year before enrolling in her parents' alma mater, Harvard University, wore a daring denim shirtdress to work on a day in which city temperatures finally warmed into the 80s.
