George HW Bush still in hospital; George W Bush visits

Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush arrives on the field to do the coin toss ahead of the start of Super Bowl LI between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons in Houston, Texas, U.S. on February 5, 2017.

"Big morale boost from a high level delegation", wrote the elder Bush. "No father has ever been more blessed, or prouder", Bush tweeted.

His son, George W., also posted on Instagram, saying his dad was "ready to come home soon". Yesterday, Bush was said to be gaining strength and in good spirits.

George H.W. Bush is still hospitalized, but a visit from his eldest son seemed to perk the former President up.

Arkansas executions temporarily on hold
McKesson said it would not have sold the drug to the Arkansas prison system had it known it would be used in executions. Two executions are set for Thursday, followed by another double execution Monday and a single execution April 27.

Bush 41, who is 92, has been in Houston Methodist Hospital since late Friday with a recurrence of pneumonia he had earlier this year, spokesman Jim McGrath said. He said doctors diagnosed that as pneumonia but that the illness has been treated and resolved.

His hospitalization comes a few months after he and wife Barbara were admitted to the hospital back in January, just before President Trump's inauguration, which Bush had already declined to attend due to health concerns.

Bush served as USA president from 1989 to 1993, and was vice president from 1981 to 1989 during the 8-year administration of former President Ronald Reagan.
