With the Ryzen 3, 5, and 7 chips already out the door for desktop PCs, AMD's preparing its next assault: the mobile market, with a Ryzen Mobile chip that promises to outperform AMD's current mobile processor by a whopping 50 percent.
While not much is known about the architecture of this upcoming lineup beyond the number of cores, they are expected to be released sometime in the summer this year, which means more details should soon follow at Computex 2017 later this month.
Low-level Software, Hardware, and Semiconductor Engineering leaks specialist WikiChip claims to have spilled the full details of an unannounced range of AMD Ryzen HEDT CPUs. The 1977X has a base clock speed of 3.5GHz, and a boost clock all the way up to 4.1GHz with a 155W TDP. It supports up to two terabytes of RAM, while Broadwell chips have 22 cores, 44 threads, and 1.5 TB of RAM. Both will have 16 cores but will be running at a slightly different base and boost clocks. These would fall under the Skylake-X architecture, and is now said to top out with a 12-core (24 thread) part.
The traditionally successful Ryzen chips are ones that have packed in several cores, so limiting these chips to four cores and turning off multithreading would suggest these CPUs instead intend to compete on a price level against the already well-established Intel i3 chips. All these CPUs have 12-cores and 24-threads.

Starting with the big boys, we've got the 16-core/32-thread Ryzen 9 1998X and Ryzen 9 1998. The Ryzen 9 1955X features a base clock of 3.6GHz and boosts to 4.0GHz with XFR.
