Hayden, who returned to the first team for the first time since 2015, received the fourth all-region honor of her career, becoming the first Cajun since the 1990s to earn all-region all four years of a career, joining an elite list in program history that includes: Lynn Britton, Stephanie DeFeo, Kyla Hall, Lana Jimenez, Kathy Morton and Dorsey Steamer. All the honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2017 NFCA Division I All-American squads.

Sartain leads the Aggies in batting average (.354) and RBI (41) and is second in slugging percentage (.646), hits (51), home runs (11) and on-base percentage (.448). The recent graduate was a second-team selection in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Blanco, a NFCA All-America first team selection previous year as a first baseman, earned all-region honors as a utility player this season - her first as a regular member of the Wolverines' pitching rotation. She was named to the All-WCC Second Team, being named WCC Player of the Week once.

She also touted a.564 slugging percentage and a team-high.481 on-base clip entering NCAA Tournament play. She owns a.370 batting average with 44 runs scored, 20 RBI and 16 stolen bases. During this year, she had a team-best nine games with three or more RBI. The team's starting second baseman, Clifton also leads the conference in hit by pitch per game (0.36) and runs per game (1.07), marks that rank 10th and 15, respectively, in the country.
