Cuphead Trailer and Release Date September 29

It's been three years since the unique platformer Cuphead was first announced. With both single-player and local co-op capabilities, Cuphead looks like the ideal new obsession for anyone lamenting games that feel too easy or want to scratch the nostalgia itch for Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo-era platformers.

Microsoft had a very full showcase during its pre-E3 press conference this afternoon, showing more detail on previously announced games, while providing some new debuts that left fans happy with delight. One of the main hooks of the game is its challenging and creative boss battles, which should be complemented well by its other popular features, such as full-on side-scrolling levels and co-op. With each year comes the promise that we'll get to play it before the next E3 rolls around, a promise that is usually broken by the time 12 months have passed and another trailer for Cuphead appears.

Cuphead will be making its way to Xbox One and Windows 10 gamers on September 29, 2017.

Jake Guentzel, Matt Murray lead Penguins to more thievery
Breaking up the barrage of penalties was Nashville's Pontus Aberg , netting a wrist-shot past Penguins' goaltender Matt Murray . The Predators held Crosby and Malkin shotless until the third period, when Malkin's first shot beat Rinne for a goal.

In more surprising news, Cuphead is getting a lavish vinyl soundtrack release, too, courtesy of the creative geniuses over at iam8bit.

Cuphead, the long awaited indie game beautifully animated in the vein of classic cartoons, will finally get released September 29 on Xbox One and PC.
