OnePlus 5 Release Date Leaked, OnePlus Teases Camera Sample

We've only just seen a sample photo from the OnePlus 5, and now keen photographers are being offered the opportunity to get their hands on the smartphone early. The email reportedly aimed to make the necessary arrangements to advertise the handset.

OnePlus - the company that's known for manufacturing "flagship killers" - has come a long way. The one on the right is clearly the better image and is obviously the being referred to when the company asked: "Can you tell which photo was taken with the OnePlus 5?". The most unfortunate part about the latest leaked images is that the OnePlus 5 seems to be covered with some sort of skin or case, effectively hiding most of the design elements on the smartphone. Three new image renders of what's said to be the OnePlus 5 have leaked on Saturday, May 27.

Once the link is used to purchase a OnePlus phone, the user will receive $20 discount on a OnePlus accessory. The OnePlus 3T is still a formidable choice if you are looking out for flagship performance with features like dash charge at a more affordable price point.

The US arm of OnePlus also mentioned on Twitter to hurry up fast to buy the phone. The company's new gimmick is called OnePlus Referral Program. The most popular and prevalent is the OnePlus 5 will feature dual cameras on its back.

The launch of the OnePlus 5 was first rumored to be sometime this summer. Previous leaks and reports strongly suggested a horizontal dual camera setup but the recent leaks suggest otherwise.

OnePlus 5 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch full Quad HD display with 2,560x1,440p resolution, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor clocking at 2.35GHz, and runs Android Nougat operating system. The OnePlus 5 might have either 6GB RAM with a 64GB storage or an 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage. Even though they are bringing the device down, they promise to give all the software updates possible for the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
