Tiger Woods appears confused in police dashcam footage

Police in Florida released dash cam video Wednesday night of the traffic stop early Monday morning that resulted in Tiger Woods' arrest on DUI charges. Police also released photos of his vehicle that showed both tires flat with minor damage around the bumpers.

In a statement Monday evening, Woods attributed the arrest to an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medicine. "I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly", he said.

His arraignment is scheduled for July 5.

"Mr. Woods, you don't have to walk anywhere", an officer is heard telling him. At one point, Woods asks police to remind him what he was doing.

The golfer was unable to walk the solid white line on the side of the road, stepping off several times to catch his balance, and began staggering away when asked to stand with his feet together and his hands at his side.

Speaking at the US PGA Tour's Memorial Tournament in OH, 62-year-old Norman said golf's current crop of stars would have shared in a "collective sigh" after 14-time major victor Woods' arrest.

Goodwill gesture: India to release 11 Pakistan prisoners today
Days ago, PM Modi had met Sharif on the sidelines of the Summit in Kazakhstan where the two nations permanent members of the SCO. India's move to repatriate Pakistani prisoners is a first of its kind since April this year when the Jadhav episode unfolded.

The golfer was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and later released on his own recognizance. He also seems to think he is in California, and fails multiple field sobriety tests. He then tells Woods he can perform the test without shoes.

"You aren't even following the light", one officer said during a test waving a flashlight in front of Tiger's eyes.

Woods has not golfed in months and is recovering from back surgery in April, his fourth back operation in three years.

This was corroborated by the police tests despite officers describing his state as confused and his speech as "slow, mumbled and slurred".

"I'm following the light", Woods says. Woods apologised to his fans and pledged to "do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again". The last of them, it is said, he has not previously taken this year.

Police cited Woods for DUI and illegal parking.
