Shah, who is on a two-day visit to the coastal state, was accorded a warm welcome outside the airport where he addressed party workers.
"I don't deny that there may not be teething problem with the implementation of GST in the beginning, however, I want to assure the people that the new tax reform will fasten the economic growth of the country and will end several tax related legislations", he said.
The GST was formally launched in Delhi in a midnight function in Parliament. "GST reform will accelerate the economic growth of the country making it a global leader", he said. Since the time Modiji has taken over, he has been introducing new things in every sector.
"GST will benefit businessmen, traders, small-scale entrepreneurs and others which would ultimately help to eradicate "Inspector Raj" which exists since Independence", claimed Shah.
