As the nation's only guaranteed and largest provider of long-term care services, including care provided at home and in the community, drastically cutting Medicaid will undermine the health, independence and economic security of millions of older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. There are already too many families struggling to figure out how they will pay their bills. "We have had nowhere to go for health care other than the emergency room".
