The WGCA recognized Lauren Atkinson, Brooklyn Hocker, Rose Huang and Aiko Leong with the prestigious honor, alongside 948 other women's collegiate golfers.

Bremm was named a WGCA All-American for her performance on the course earlier this summer, and now adds an academic honor to her résumé.

In addition to the 3.50 minimum GPA, student-athletes must meet a number of requirements, including being of high moral character and in good standing at the college making the nomination, and the student-athlete must have played in 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated. All three of Notre Dame's honorees also earned the honor following the 2015-16 season.

Saroha, an worldwide relations major, concluded her career this past spring with a 77.21 scoring average, ranking 10th on the Texas State all-time career list. She had a total of five finishes in the top 20 with her best coming at the Big Ten Championships where she placed fifth. Her best finish was sixth at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic where she shot a three-under 69 in the second round.

Frazier, a rising sophomore, had a 3.89 cumulative grade-point average after her freshman year and she was also named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. She won SEC Freshman of the Week on March 22, becoming just the second Wildcat to win the award in school history. She played 40 tournaments in her Irish career and finished with a 75.56 stroke average, which ranks seventh in program history.
