Unfolding in a Baton Rouge hotel, officials revealed that the woman accused Webbie of choking and hitting her, adding the discovery of bruising across her face and neck, TMZreports.
Webbie (real name Webster Gradney, Jr.) allegedly kept his girlfriend in a Comfort Inn hotel room for two hours against her will. The victim also told authorities that the rapper pinned her on the ground at one point and pushed his knees into her throat so she could not breath for several seconds. The victim told authorities that while it was her first time reporting him, it was not the first time that Gradney had physically or verbally abused her.
According to authorities, the victim said Gradney had been consuming cocaine and marijuana for two days without sleeping, and took her cellphone from her.

The Advocate reports that the victim had a fractured nose that left her coughing and spitting up blood.
Baton Rouge authorities have booked Webbie, who's known for his hit single "Independent" and his affiliation with Boosie BadAzz, for domestic abuse by strangulation, false imprisonment, second-degree battery, theft, and simple criminal damage to property.
Gradney and his girlfriend had come to Baton Rouge for the Fourth of July weekend, accompanied by members of his entourage, she told police.
