It's been some time since we heard any news about Steven Spielberg's upcoming adaptation of Ready Player One, Ernest Cline's 2012 bestseller about virtual reality and video games.
The photo gives us a good look at Wade's OASIS rig, and if you look hard in the corner, you can spot the bike Wade pedals to charge up his gear. Watts gets in on the action then after five years finds himself facing off against corporate foes who will go to any lengths to get the money - in both the real world and in The Oasis. Whoever solves the series of pop-culture quests will win the OASIS and its parent company Gregarious Games.
A Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures production, the Ready Player One movie is being directed by Spielberg, who is also producing alongside Donald De Line, under his De Line Pictures banner, Dan Farah and Kristie Macosko Krieger.
