The Coast Guard used a rescue helicopter to lift four sailors who were injured and left stranded on "MV Lucky Seven", which drifted towards the beach adjoining the Mandovi river's mouth.

"The vessel got stuck in the Aguada sandbar off the Miramar coast". A few days ago the owner of the vessel had sought permission to anchor in River Mandovi as a refuge vessel which was granted by the court.

Public relations officer of the company Damodar Bhatkar stated that the licence was granted by the government in 2006 for operation in Mandovi river, and is the second offshore casino licence, which was transferred from MV Leela in 2009. One of them had suffered an injury while the other three were found to be sea sick.

Badkar said, no request was made to rescue the remaining 15 crew members, which included the casino vessel's captain. "Nature stopped the unholy designs of the Goa government to bring yet another casino to Goa... the BJP played with the lives of the crew onboard the vessel", All India Congress Committee Secretary Girish Chodankar told reporters.

Analysts are expecting EPS growth rates to be at 107.70% this quarter and EPS estimate for next year reflect 22.36% growth rate. Barings LLC maintained its stake in Chemours Company (The) (NYSE:CC) during the first quarter, Holdings Channel reports.

The casino is learnt to be owned by former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda.

The news of MV Lucky 7 running aground, reportedly down to high risks being taken during monsoon season in the Aguada sandbar region, could lead to further opposition for the floating vessel casinos.

The vessel hit Miramar beach on Sunday Morning and later in the evening during high tide the vessel stuck right on the sea shore at Miramar.

The vessel should be removed from the sandbar or else it will affect the Miramar beach, he said.
