Wimbledon - Women's Doubles: Dominant Makarova/Vesnina win the title

Russian tennis duo, Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova crushed No.9 seeds Chan Hao-Ching and Monica Niculescu 6:0, 6:0 in less than an hour to bring home their first Wimbledon title.

The No.2 seeded Russian pair produced a dominant performance, needing only 55 minutes to secure victory in one of the most prestigious Grand Slam events, giving their less experienced opponents from Taiwan and Romania no chance for a comeback. She also won the French Open previous year.

It was Makarova and Vesnina's second attempt at the Wimbledon doubles title.
