Walker said if Foxconn doesn't fulfill their promise to invest $10 billion or create 13,000 jobs, the company won't be eligible for the $3 billion in incentives the state has planned for the company to build a 20 million-square foot campus to create liquid display panels.
"If I didn't get elected, he definitely would not be spending $10 billion", Trump said.
In a White House speech, Trump said the financial commitment by Foxconn CEO Terry Gou was a direct result of his electoral win.
The deal is a political victory for Governor Walker, who proposed the tax incentives in order to beat six other states, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, and NY, to land Foxconn. About half is for capital costs and almost half for workforce development.

But Foxconn has had a mixed record following up on promises to create new jobs in the United States.
