Colts owner Jim Irsay offers vague update on Andrew Luck

Colts owner Jim Irsay said Sunday he is encouraged by the progress Andrew Luck has made in his recovery from shoulder surgery, but he stopped short of promising the star quarterback would be ready for the team's Week 1 game at the Rams.

Without Luck, the Colts sputtered against the Detroit Lions.

Another interesting nugget from Irsay's time addressing the media was when he revealed that the Colts considered bringing in another veteran quarterback, but the price was apparently too high.

Pompeo said he could not get into specifics but said that North Korea's progress has gone on for decades. "Nothing is imminent. North Korea, meanwhile, has threatened to launch a rocket at the waters near the USA territory of Guam some 21,000 miles away.

In addition to Irsay's words after the game, general manager Chris Ballard expressed pleasure with Luck's progression during an appearance on the preseason game's broadcast.

He also said Luck is "doing really well". Scott Tolzien went 2 for 5 for 24 yards, Phillip Walker went 9 for 20 for 86 yards, and Stephen Morris went 13 for 20 for 94 yards.
