An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing child who was abducted from Santa Maria.

He was last seen driving a 2015 blue Volkswagen Golf hatchbackwith California license plate number 7JGG242.

Police issued the alert after they were dispatched to a shooting at 230 N. College Drive in Santa Maria.

Morozov is described as a White male adult with brown hair and brown eyes, about 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.

The Santa Maria Police Department said Daniel Morozov was abducted at 8:39 p.m. Monday following a shooting in Santa Maria in Santa Barbara County by 48-year-old Konstantin Morozov.

Konstantin Morozov, the boy's father, is believed to be with his son and is considered as "person of interest" in the slaying, Valle said. The boy has white skin, brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities looking for the two have been urged to give special attention to worldwide airports and border crossings. He should be considered armed and risky, authorities said. He was last seen wearing blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
