New York Jets linebacker Darron Lee and defensive lineman Leonard Williams are in the clear.

Lee got into an argument with his girlfriend and the Governors Ball earlier this summer, according toTodd Bowles. Williams interceded and forcibly removed Lee from the altercation. No arrests were made, but that doesn't prevent the National Football League from investigating potential violations.

His daughter Caroline, a 22-year-old California resident, was also arrested at a home a short walk from the main Kennedy compound. Police in Barnstable, Mass., collared Matthew "Max" Kennedy, 52 - the ninth son of assassinated former NY senator Robert F.

An NFL spokesman issued the following statement Monday: "Following a review, we concluded there was insufficient evidence to support a finding that there was a violation of the personal conduct policy". Both players have declined to comment.

Lee and Williams avoided discipline after the NFL investigated potential violations of the league's personal conduct policy but found no wrongdoing.
