New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had to rush off the field after he took a brutal hit to his knees during a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. Beckham came off the field and jogged to the tunnel toward the locker room, but ESPN cameras captured him dropping to his knees, where he waited for members of the team's training staff. Reportedly, he has been cleared of a possible concussion but is being taken for X-rays on his ankle.

Looking at the video, Boddy-Calhoun could have easily wrapped up at the waist but instead chose to go for the low blow at Beckham Jr.'s knee.

The Giants announced that it was an ankle sprain, and he also underwent a few more tests. All-Pro safety Landon Collins could be seen approaching Boddy-Calhoun and exchanging words with him following a punt. But it's impossible to completely avoid injuries in a preseason game. If Beckham's injury is serious - if he avoided any knee issue he's lucky, because his leg bent awkwardly when he got hit - then the Giants are in trouble.

Of course, we don't know for sure that Beckham was looking at the sun.
