Not only has Apple given the digital assistant new "natural and expressive" male and female voices, but Siri has also been upgraded to use "on-device learning" to become more contextual. According to Ars Technica, the company's latest smartwatch operating system will improve the device's user interface, which includes the News app added support, Music app's new appearance and the latest vertical app dock. If you don't see the iTunes 12.7 update, try reloading the page by pressing Command-R. The new update doesn't solve all of the design problems with iTunes, which is still used for videos, audiobooks and podcasts, but it puts some of the focus back on its original objective: listening to music. Once users update to iTunes 12.7, the only way to download/redownload apps is directly through the App Store on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

What's surprising though is that Apple has removed the App Store from the iTunes desktop app, which might be a welcome change as in it will reduce the bloat in the app.

On your Mac, launch the App Store app in your Applications folder. It no longer has an App Store for your iPhone or iPad.

But if you're not so keen on people being able to see what you're listening to then there's good news, as you can choose whether your profile is public or private.

A new tab, called "Today" will show apps and stories about developers on a daily basis.

Interestingly, iTunes v12.7 update also brings in the ability to sync iOS 11 devices, as well as the ability to discover content with friends on Apple Music much easily.

Apple had been at the receiving end of criticism for making iTunes bloated and heavy with the integration of the app store.
